The Columbia Machine Company is a family owned, general machine shop that has been in operation in Zanesville, Ohio since 1905.


Specializing in machine fabrication and shaft work, Columbia Machine Company has been serving local industries with top quality custom manufactured products and repair work for decades. Along with general fabrication, Columbia Machine Company provides welding services by specializing in both MIG and TIG welding styles. Although work is done for individual customers, the main focus of Columbia Machine Company is on small to large businesses in the excavating, industrial, oilfield and manufacturing fields. Jobs concerning the manufacture of small intricate pieces as well as large shafts can easily be performed by our staff, which as a combined total experience of over 100 years in the machining field. Columbia Machine Company charges affordable flat hourly and overtime rates. New customers are always welcome and encouraged to stop by to see if our services will meet their needs. TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND RETURN POLICY


Columbia Machine Company, Inc. follows the following guidelines closely.

SHOP HOURLY RATE: 65.00 PER HOUR*

*RATE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES:

Jobs requiring service before or after scheduled working hours: 8am – 5pm.
Jobs requiring service on: weekends or major holidays.
Jobs requiring immediate attention: putting others work on hold to preform “emergency services.”

SHOP MINIMUM RATE: $30.00*

*THIS RATE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING UPON JOB COMPLEXITY

RETURN POLICY & WARRANTY:

Due to the nature of our business, returns are not a common occurrence. Needless to say, conflicts have and will happen. We strive for customer satisfaction, and we want to see our product(s) succeed. In majority of cases, the outcome is positive. However, if the conflict is obviously on the customers end (i.e. wrong dimensions, poor engineering, or product abuse) no refund can be given. This is relatively rare. To avoid getting into this situation, always double check your measurements! We do not expect you to be a machine shop expert, if you need advice on materials, or measurements, just ask. If the failure is on Columbia Machine’s end (nobody’s perfect) we will assess the failure, devise and execute a plan to make the best of a bad situation.
